setting up a website

so something i think would be useful to know is how to set up a website.

it doesn't need to be anything that fancy, and it certainly doesn't need to do that much.

i just have a weird idea that it would be a good idea to do that?

but that's because i don't want to have some other service that does that for me, i just want to be able to do that myself.

so in my schooling i've learned to actually host a local website, or even what you need to do to just put one out there. but something i hacen't yet done is getting a domain and then directing traffic to it... or from it?

i doubt it would be to terribly difficult but seeing as how i have barely done anything with this lovely little blog i know that it will be a few steps that i have yet to properly actually do.

and that's alright, i don't mind learning how to do new things.

in fact i tend to like that and tend to be doing that most of the time anyway. there's lots of amazing information out there, or lots of people out there that will gladly help out to get you going.

heck theres a bunch of registrars out there, and lots and lots of website builders and guides out there on what to do.

but as with most new things, i'm scared to give it a proper try... but heck i'll get over that and with doing it a few times, and stumbling and getting up and trying again and again i'll eventually learn how to do it.

at least that's the hope!

keep trying, and thanks for reading
