this is about this song. i don't remember when or how i came across it. but boy i love this song and this album.
there is something that resonates to me with rap songs that have layers and layers to them. the more i've listenend to this one the more layers there seems to be.
this group has put out some amazing halloween albums, and when i show them to friends they have remarked on how harsh they are to listen to... but that's part of making the album scary. that's part of the wonder of theeming.
i've been listening to the song recently becuase i happened to come across the tiny desk concert for them also, https://youtu.be/h0-k7vW9Xek?si=i9_ECtf3gAIjdXlU , it was such an amazing experience seeing everything they do in a live acustic setting.
it's so neat seeing music being performed. it's so amazing trying to make music yourself.
i'm nothing like these music makers, i'm really just starting out trying to make something. but like things i've gotten a taste for... eventually i'll make something decent?
or at least i hope to.
